New production facility in Schwerin

Althoff Industrie- und Verwaltungsbau GmbH has received a commission from the Aachen-based Flamm AG in Schwerin to construct a new facility that will manufacture sophisticated components for the Airbus A380.

 

Approximately 160 new jobs will be created by the new production facility in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.

 

The entire investment totals nearly 15,000,000 euros. Serial components for the Super-Airbus A380 will be produced at the new plant.

 

The components range from high-precision, laser-cut sheet metal to complex, riveted metal frames – which are then used for the entire Airbus family, including the new double-decker Airbus A381.
