Josera opens new production facility in Poland
Bavarian mineral feed producer Josera opened a new plant in the Polish city of Nowy Tomysl on April 21, 2009.
A modern building complex with production hall, mixing tower, and office building was completed on a nearly 150,000-square meters property near Poznan.
This family-owned company with headquarters in Kleinheubach near Aschaffenburg is among the largest mineral feed producers in Europe and can look back on nearly 70 years of history. Josera has established a reputation primarily for high-quality mineral livestock feeds.
Growing demand in eastern Europe and a necessary expansion of production capacities served as impetus for the construction of a new plant in Poland. Proximity to the market contributes to enormous savings in transport costs.
