Dedication for Grohe Water Technologies

The architectural "wedding" is now completed. A giant glass façade connects the new Grohe production management center (PMC)  with the plant on the Edelburg. Desk and grinding shop next to each other: this will optimize processes, which will help solidify the global market position of Grohe.

Grohe invested 3.75 million euros in the PMC. The three-level administrative building was completed and occupied in a record time of only six months. There's more behind the new, modern structures along the Edelburg. "The building is an important component of our new strategic alignment," delights chairman Peter Körfer-Schün, who yesterday cut the red ribbon separating the PMC and production together with Detlef Spigiel (engineering director) and plant manager Joachim Meyer.

Short distances and direct communication between staffers and machine operators should make production more effective. A total of 115 employees will move into direct proximity with production. In addition to the bright, open-space offices, the light-flooded marketplace serves as a central location for communication and meetings.

The architectural transparency should be reflected in decision-making processes.
