Autohaus Zittel – a successful project

Alsdorf, April 1, 2006

An important contribution to the urban development of Alsdorf was completed at year's end and officially opened this past Saturday. The address is from Mercedes-Autohaus Zittel, which has now occupied the new facility on the traffic circle near Alsdorf-Neuweiler.

"With great commitment from all participants, we were able to achieve this goal," rejoiced CEO Markus Zittel about the successful project. Currently, 20 people are employed here. With good business development, five more will be added. A second Zittel location in Eschweiler employs 30 people.

Among the guests at the opening were Parliament member Helmut Brandt (CDU) and Mayor Helmut Klein. Klein underscored that the investment of Autohaus Zittel represents a significant contribution to municipal development. The location on one of the most heavily traveled roads in Alsdorf is an ideal site for the company and for the city.
